First Pregnancy Pressure in the hips is it normal?I've spent two hours look up this pressure pain that i have in my hips...all answers i've seen have to do with third trimester.
but has anyone experienced a pressure pain in their hips during their first pregnancy? and is this common?
it feels like my hips are being pushed away from each other, my back hurts and this pain has been keeping me awake all night.

it's normal I had it with my daughter and my son your body is getting ready for birth your pelvic bone is separating to make way for baby and your body is releasing a hormone that makes your joints loser

Ive had two children and in both pregnancies my hips did hurt but like you said it wasn't until the third trimester. Maybe you pulled a muscle and need to do some stretches. Stretching is really good for your body while your pregnant but you might want to go see a doctor or call the local hospital and get it checked out.

Well I know with my first I did feel that pain also but I was probably like 5 or 6 months along, your hips do get ready for the birth and there is some pain to accommodate the birth process. It sucks I know how far along you?

ohh yes!!!! i am going through that right now. my hips are constently hurting. it has to do with your hips seperating. i am 32 wks. and i first noticed it earlier but it went away, now its constant. and it hurts so bad at times. i told my dr. that i wanted them to numb my hips until the pain would go away, and she just laughed. but its ok. because i know its my body preparing to give birth.
You asked!
I wish I knew!! Im also having the same thing (im in my TWW , AF is due on the 10th-12th March) The only way I can describe it is that its like a pulling stitch type feeling (but it cant be stitch cus it happens when im sitting down not doing anything!LOL)
Talking to as friend today, she did say that the pain could also be related to a UTI, which made sense as well, I googled UTI symptoms and the only sypmtom I have is the 'pain' going on. Off to the docs next week.....
Good luck and I hope this is your BFP!!!
