Hip pain during pregnancy?I never noticed this until I got pregnant - and I'm currently about 14 weeks along, but at night when I go to bed, I'll wake up and whatever hip I'm laying on REALLY hurts. As silly as it sounds, you know how an arm or foot, etc., goes to sleep? It's that kind of pain. Anyone else experience this with pregnancy? I'm not sleeping any differently - I just noticed this during this pregnancy, and this is my first pregnancy. Just curious - thanks!

yes i did with my first pregnancy and it will get so much worse but i just bought a big body pillow and slept with it between my knees and it helped a little bit but it is very uncomfortable to sleep ask your doctor if there is anything else he can tell you about it

Yep, it's normal!! Try getting one of those really comfy bed pad things, like with memory foam, that will help..

mine does it when i lay on my side and my hips hurt a lot though cuz i have a syst im 8 weeks...tomorrow.....and if i lay on my side it will hurt and i have to readjust....u mite just have to switch the way u sleep or try to sleep with a pillow between ur knees as corny as it sounds or under ur hip u may ask ur doc wat he/she thinks you should do to try to ease that out.....i suggest trying pillows first

I have the same problem but I didnt start getting it until I was about 32 weeks along or so...I did however have early sciatic nerve pain but it went away. Try sleeping with a pillow between your knees it seems to help a little bit.
