What can i use for this pain in the centre of my hip just where the spinal cord empties into the buttocks.?I'm an adult and has had this pain since i was very young. Several treatments i've tried just work temporarily after which the pain returns. Sometimes its so severe that when i bend to sweep for instance, i can't easily stand up straight.

You should be seeing a chiropractor. They have done wonders for me since I had a couple of auto accidents and 1 major fall from a ladder.

sounds like you have a pinched nerve, does the pain travel down your leg. You should consult your doctor or perhaps a chichropractor.

it sounds like something in your back goes in and out of place. it sounds chronic, and you may always have it. i have found that lying on my back, bending my legs and raising them to my chest helps a bit, then i roll my lower body from side to side. sometimes it helps to ease the pain. it hurts when i'm doing this, and if it hurts too much, i stop because i know that this time it's not going to work. when that dosn't work, i sit on the floor with my legs crossed, put my hands on the floor behind me and lean back. that sometimes helps to put the bones back where they belong. you can hear a thunk, and feel it too. if you hear the thunk, slowly bring your legs out straight, and lie back on the floor. stay there for as long as you can, then carefully get up. the soreness will be there, but not the extreme pain. in everything you do, try to keep your spine straight. don't twist and turn when you vacuum, sweep, or pick up anything, as the slightest thing will put your back out. hope this helps.
