Hip pain: VERY early pregnancy hip pain?

VERY early pregnancy hip pain?I'm 5 or 6 weeks preganant, I haven't even had my 1st doc visit yet.
the problem is, I have EXCRUCIATING pain shooting through both my hip joints. It feels like my hips are being dislocated or need to crack all the time.
There's no relief from the pain. It does not come and go. It does not even throb. Its just a constant sharp ache running through my hips, back, and thighs. The only thing I can relate it to was the growing pains i had in my shins when i was a child.
did anyone experience this as early as i am, and what did you do for it?
1st pregnancy. i do yoga, but i haven't in 2 weeks. I'm going back on Wednesday. then the doc appt on Fri.
They're not cramps.
I have occasional mild cramping (just like period cramps) but i know that is normal.
but the hip pain is completely different from cramping.
I called the doctor the very day I found out I was pregnant, which was about 4 days ago (4/28)
They told me to come in on 5/8, which i am doing. I didn't ignore it.

u should try to contact your dr and ask aspecially if the pain is really heavy and u will start to bleed. i will go to er if u cant contact your dr. good luck.
ps. i am sorry to say that but that may be begginig of miscarriage i wouldnt get warm baths it will make it worst.
the dr usually doesnt want to see u until 7 weeks but cause that pain really go to see er or at least call er.

I have never heard of that before. Are you working out? Is this your first pregnancy? I would definitely go to the Dr. Try warm baths, leg massages, and eating bananas. Bananas have something in them that helps with all kinds of cramps.

Immediately, you can take some panadol. Its perfectly safe while you are pregnant provide you only take as directed on the box.
Next, I would be making an appointment to see a doctor, its too early to be experiencing round ligament pain.
Good luck & I hope everything turns out well for you.

Probably since you were doing yoga before you got pregnant, you pulled a muscle or something, and now that you are pregnant, that muscle in your hip is getting ready for baby also, just like the rest of your body, I know in Yoga, they use the hips and they stretch them out a lot, so it could be a pulled muscle, and now that you are pregnant, it is sore, because your body is getting ready for baby.

You should have seen the doctor the minute you found out about your pregnancy and your hip hurting so much, try and relax, and do your best to not worry.

And just wait for your doctor's appointment, if you experience anymore pain, then go to the ER right away.

Since you ignored this in the first place, you have to keep a watch on it.
