Hip pain: Is my weight loss causing pain?

Is my weight loss causing pain?Well for the past 3 months I have been dieting. So far I have lost 17 pounds. Recently I have been feeling sharp pains in my right hip and knee. I'm doing everything normal as I used to with the exception of eating better. I even sometimes feel nauseous and sickly sometimes. I have no idea whas going on.

I doubt eating better is causing you pain. I think you should go to the Dr. to get it checked out. Just to be safe.

There is a possiblity of weight loss causing you pains, When the body changes due to weight loss many stomach pains are common, your body is not used to the change. These pains will end eventually.

Go see a doctor. It could be a lot of things.

Awww man!! I totally get you!! I have lost more than 60 lbs and I tell you the first few weeks I felt horrible!! I swear I felt worse when I lost the weight then when I was big time overweight. Yes, I think it can cause pain. First because you are using muscles you haven't used or overusing some muscles...it can also be that you pulled something and or you are wearing down cartilage as I am told.....I had a doctor and a teacher tell me that when you do stuff like well remember in school the gym teacher made you rotate your neck or head around? He said it was bad, and wrong for them to ask you to do that because it wore away your cartilage around your neck or something like that. Well it happens with other parts of your body not just cartilage but juice ha ha as I call it but it's really liquids that your knee has or etc. and new diets and exercises changes muscle tone, wears down muscles cartilages etc. so yes i think it can....and it can also just be age and movement like athritis or normal wear and tear. If it is really painful I suggest visiting a doctor, a chiropractor, or a naturopathic doctor. Good luck. It's painful being beautiful and skinny ha ha isn't it.
